Here are some tips on quitting to help you through
Make a quit date.
Take up or prepare to take up a new hobby/pastime/activity eg join a gym and get fit or start cycling, go fishing, have regular beauty treatments.
Plan to reward yourself with something nice using the money you save from not smoking.
Plan ways in which you will cope with any cravings eg eat more fruit, read a book, chew a piece of gum, drink more water.
Prepare to throw away anything associated with your smoking e.g. lighters, cigarette case etc.
Ask a good friend to help you give up. Stopping with a friend will increase your chances of quitting.
Practice ways of refusing cigarettes from friends or at parties etc.
